The PlayStation portable is a seventh generation handheld game console that was developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was first released in Japan in 2004 and later in North America and other countries. Sony had sold 82 million units of PSP worldwide. Sony Computer Entertainment was the first real competitor of Nintendo at that time. Sony Computer Entertainment was announced in 2003 that they are developing a PlayStation Portable. The System has 4.3-inch Lcd screen and two shoulder buttons and a USB 2.0 mini-B port on the top of the console. Sony Computer Entertainment had sold one million units in the first week of sale in Europe. The PSP has 1800 mAh battery, users can play up to four and six hours on this device. In 2004 sony released a series of PSP demo games including Duck In Water, world/ball. The Sony Computer Entertainment released across 1370 games for PSP during its life. The Best-selling game of PSP is Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. The PSP had sold 7.6 Million copies of this Game. It was discontinued in 2014.
