Tanky Zane Clone Build Guide for Borderlands 3

Zane is one of the more interesting characters introduced in the newest entry to the Borderlands series. As a quick-witted character, he has the brains to get out of sticky situations. With his clone by his side, he is a complete game changer. Akin to Mirage from Apex Legends, Zane has a whole arsenal of possibilities through his skill tree. He can easily create new openings between your team and enemies that are gathered in his wake. You can get Borderlands 3 money from Eldorado.gg to help you quickly earn the items you need to make the experience better.

Follow the steps below:

If you’d like to build a Zane tanker that will make you feel as invulnerable as you can feel in Borderlands 3, this is your project. Investing heavily in Under Cover will ensure that you can handle pretty much everything that any enemy can throw at you (particularly useful in some boss fights), while our remaining skills will be given to the Doubled Agent tree to keep our capacity for damage up to scratch.

Despite this being a tank construct, I am of the opinion that early-level damage is your focus, so you should probably still start by having a good 3-5 synchronicity. But then you can go back to Under Cover and develop into Hearty Stock and Adrenaline (Ready for Action is also useful so you can pick it up later). Confident Competence, halfway down the Under Cover branch, is kind of like a mini-Capstone for the branch because it is so useful only from a single point allocated, so you should beeline for that and try to hit it by Level 18 or so. Your Borderlands 3 money to get these skills faster can be earned from Eldorado.gg.

After that, your target is essentially to go straight down the middle of the green tree, investing in Best Served Cold and Calm, Cool, Collected (both giving you some beautiful Cryo-based CC and utility), and finally the Distributed Denial Capstone. In the meantime, you can pick up the All-Rounder Supplement to transform your Barrier into a dome; and Nanites Or Some Shite, which we care about because of the awesome shield recharge delay reduction (which, in conjunction with your Ready For Action points, will ensure you’ll regenerate shields at a insane rate).

When all that is done its time to go back to Doubled Agent to shore up a bit of your damage. Fractal Frags and Duct Tape Mod are both nice because they just give you a justification for the grenade mod slot; and Fast Breather again acts as a mini-capstone of sorts that further strengthens your shield game by starting to recharge immediately when you turn with your Clone. Finally, the Ability Augments you want to pick up for your Digi-Clone are Schadenfreude (for obvious reasons) and Binary Device, which gives us some extra Cryo damage again-never a bad thing.

There is practically nothing in the game by this point that will be able to overthrow you. Only put out your two action skills whenever you can and essentially enjoy seeing your shield never go below 50%.
